My Review:

This book started out strong, it had me from the first page. (other posts show i am completely taken over) Vampire Academy takes the things we love about Vampires and makes it better.
There are still the Shadow-y characters that we all wonder about Like Christian and Dimitri but the book (and series) revolves around Rose Hathaway.
Rose is like Buffy (yes i said it Buffy) but insted of killing Vampires she pretects them, well the good ones.
In alot of Vampire or Paranormal novels they seam to make a big deal out of being Vampires. Richelle doesnt do that. The people in this story deal with being vampires the way we deal being humans, they just dont question it.
The Story has the Typical High school dramas like, popularity, grudgeful boyfriends, rumors, bullies and crushes on teachers.
Rose has a kick ass sense of humor and will kick your ass aswell
I love it but it is not for every body.

Read if: You like a good story that is well written.
Dont read if: you dont like tough chicks and Teen drama.
